Aaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuoooooo ooooooooo!!!! These pictures remind me of Jeju Island in South Korea. I lived there for a few years and the "Haenyu" (female breath hold divers) used to use the same kind of glass floats for the game they caught in the open sea. Sadly they've retired the more beautiful glass globes for the more readily available starfoam balls with tasteless printed cloth covers. Once again, love the pictures.

I love your fishing float photos. It must have taken careful planning to situate those just right and to leave no marks in the sand. Care was taken with the lighting and exposure, as well. I was almost two years old when we left Hawaii and moved to Georgia. I don't remember it. But one of the things my parents kept - and I've got it now - is a Japanese fishing float. Mine is blue-green. I've had the best time wandering the beaches of your album and peering through the wavy glass at the beautiful world I don't remember. You did a fine job with composition!
