Hi Mich! You have been busy already this morning... Nice pics Thanks for your words in my guestbook. What a strange big bug!! Looks like a flying mini kameleon (chameleon?)....or so. Very weird indeed! Yes the ice in my orchard was also done on purpose. 35 cubic meters per hours the farmer got out of the ditches (?) surrounding his orchards. He had to keep awake so that the pipes would not burst, letting the flowers get dry and much colder than the ice would get it. He had to work like that for 4 nights at a stretch on his own.... so he looked awfully tired. The orchard survived; the flowers you can see in Life after freezing. About 99,999% survived without even a scratch! Yesterday I made pictures of the apples: big fat ones already!
