Snow Nymph - Great pics. The views from the top of Agassiz looked awesome! How was that restaurant? The food looked good.

Dear Snownymph, Thanks for the response to my question. Now I am really impressed. It probably would take me a whole week to recover from one of your climbs these days. When I was MUCH younger I worked for the U.S. Forest Service as a wildlands firefighter, so I really enjoy seeing your pictures of the mountain regions of the far west. Unfortunately, my knees are no longer in good enough shape to do serious hiking, although I stll enjoy the more gentle trails. We have taken a few trips to Canada, but have much more to see. Our last was the cruise along the maritimes and down to Montreal. Hope you enjoy those pictures... Mark

More great pictures. I'm heartened to see that Mt. Agassiz has not been renamed. I attended Agassiz school in Cambridge, MA back in the 1940's, but the name recently was changed because Agassiz was not condidered politically correct. I'm still wondering when you folks work.... Mark

Beautiful photos SnowyNymph! I'm glad you were finally able to reach the Agassiz summit. And you did Mt. Goode too, what an animal!
