Hi again Jill and many thanks for your long response in my recent guest book. All your answers to my (too many) questions are greatly appreciated. No doubt you are now getting into training for the start of your new walking season (or does that season never end for you?) By way of contrast, if you can get to look at my Yesterday's album FIRE you will get another perspective on life out here. I shot these pics in the heat of the moment as we endured 24 very scary hours (without power, too, I might add) Thanks for offering to put up a few more pics of Great Gable etc - I shall keep a watch out for them for sure. Jill - another superb album that has me gasping as each new photo appears. I see you mentioned Wainwright and I have read all his books - just wonderful. Was this where you got your inspiration to take up fell walking ir was it always in your blood? I have forwarded your albums to a friend near Blackpool who used to be a guide for walking tours of the fells until he had a massive heart attack a few years ago. He is right as rain now but can't do what he did but I know he'll just love your photos. Peter in Western Australia
