Hi, I enjoyed your pictures of the covered bridges. I used to go over the Barrackville bridge as a child with my Pap and Grama going from Grant Town to Fairmont to go to town. I wish they were here to take that ride again, Pap passed on and Grama here in Ohio with alzheimers bad, she would love that! Do u know of the bridge that was washed out by the flood near Grant Town but before Fairveiw, it was close to Grant Town but I dont think it was at the edge of town, just ouside iI think???? Just wondering if u know name or have a pic, long gone from a flood. I used to play there and fish as a girl, it was red as I remember and my aunt had a trailer beside it close. What mmemories I have of the area, I miss so badly. Thank you for the pictures, made me smile. Monica

Hi Bill and Kay, thank you for visiting "Shave head for Cure at TransCanada" photo album. We need to help cancer victims! Their life experiences are very moving and for us, personally, very touching moments. My friends who succumbed to cancer are very inspirational to many of us. Their courageous posture and willing to accept God's decision is a very powerful statement of their faith. It is very interesting to note, how we, as webshots friends, can develop and have wonderful friendships and at the same time share so many powerful ideas. God bless you too! Friendly greetings, Rafal

Hi Kay and Bill! I still can't get over how many beautiful covered bridges you have photographed in West Virginia! Now that Julie and family will be moving from Ohio, I guess we will never get to those numerous covered bridges out near Columbus. :-((( Maybe we will have to hunt for thoroughbred horses now!!! :-) Thanks for the lovely guestbook entry in Animal Expressions today. What a surprise! Hope you are having a great day. Lots of hugs! Sharon

Hi Bill and Kay. It is always nice to come back to albums that I have enjoyed. I can only imagine how it must be to live where there are so many fine examples of covered bridges. I like the ones with the fog in background. It adds an eerie touch doesn't it? Great photos as always. Hugs to both of you, Dynna

Hi Bill and Kay, Always a pleasure looking at your WV pictures. Thanks for the kind words about my "Winter's Last Gasp" album. Like you, I'm hoping that it truly WAS winter's last gasp. Your covered bridge pix bring back so many happy memories of childhood in West Virginia. Almost twice a month, we would travel from Bridgeport across the Philippi bridge to visit my Dad's people in the mountains above Elkins. And of course, the Simpson Creek flows right through Bridgeport, and I've seen it and crossed it many times. Both of those bridges now grace my computer as wallpaper. Karen (aka: Kat)
