  • Hello Kay and Bill! We love your so friendly white and colored wooden churches! They are so diffrent from our European churches! When we were visiting the USA, we often entered in such churches and met very nice people! Beautiful modern stained glasses! Thanks, Kay, for your nice guestbook comments! • Bill & Kay, thank you for the nice thoughts you wrote in my guestbook. I am finally begining to get over all the problems! I hope I've gotten everything out of the way; 2004 has got to be a better year! I am not a christian, but I am a believer. These churches are really beautiful. The photo "Abandoned Church" was awesome! It seemed to have a powerful effect on me spiritually. I downloaded it, and every time I see it I am somehow drawn to it emotionally and spiritually. I don't know what that is about, but it is a good feeling! Thank you for sharing all your photos, but especially this one! Happy Holidays to You and Yours! RickH Northern California

  • Hi Bill and Kay and greetings from Kentucky. Just stopped in to wish you folks a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I noticed the little church, it must be a tiny church, cause the roof nails, look like they might be bigger then the door knob. But in fact I didn't see the door knob or steps up into the church. Can you tell me about this church? Is it a pew wide -- he he? Am I confused on this. And the abandoned church, do you suppose Satan found his way in there and ran off everyone. I like old churches, but I have to admit, you found some real different churches here. I will be back to look some more and take care. Great photos... Darrell

  • Greetings from Ohio. I guess that First Presbyterian of Fairmont, WV would be considered an "inner-city& quot; church. My album reflects wonderful memories of my years there in the '70's.

  • I like the white little churches and the setting - contrast of blue sky, white building and the green around - very inspiring! No 18 is unbelievable and no19 looks like springing from the pages of a Gothic novel!!! Dear Lady! I heard from Candy, so how do you feel?????Keep up the fight, you'll get better! My very best wishes to you!Gabriela

  • Thanks Bill & Kay for the lovely comments in my book. I love all your pics of WV, too. Especially the deserted church in this album. Now why would people desert such a beautiful old house of God? Thanks so much for sharing. Hope to be able to check out more of your pics soon. Lynn in Virginia USA

  • Hi Kay and Bill! What a beautiful collection of photos of country churches in West VA. I loved the stained glass photos also. Our son is the pastor of a little Baptist Church close to St. Louis County. Bob and I try to help out with this church; I play the piano and Bob teaches Sunday School when the teacher is on vacation or sick. Anyway, back to your albums; they are all so gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing your area of the country. Sharon

  • I love the old country churches. As a matter of fact, that is the kind of church I attend. Built in 1890. The deserted church is so pretty. I hope it won't go to ruin. Thanks for this album. A great reminder of our heritage. Dynna
