Island Lady (Vancouver Island?): I lived in Victoria for 3 years some decades back and I thoroughly enjoy revisiting through your albums. I grew up in coastal Alaska, and moved to the subarctic where we still live although we travel much more now! You capture the lushness and color of the region and especially the richness of coastal BC in glorious manner. These scenes should have been a "companion book" as part of the Channel 9, KCTS--Seattle production of "Over Beautiful British Columbia" - now available in dvd form. Thankfully some of beautiful B.C.'s misty-green, rainy-eco-system flows down here into the U.S. as far south as half of Oregon - as (I) see it! I have the sound of rain, moss and mist, N.W. Indian culture, salmon and eagles, waters of salt and fresh, rivers lakes and creeks, Orcas, deep-dark forest kingdoms, etc. as part of my soul, it's the eco-system, the PNW (U.S.) I grew up in. And I do practice PNW Indian chants praying for the Sun-God to appear, have to dry out once in a while! :) Thankfully there's a border to fence off flowing populations, USA-type, from creeping up into B.C. - like down here! Your ART-photography (inspired me) to talk too much :) When I'm not being a regular U.S.-type guy, "our" environment is very-close behind all the junk piled in the front of my thinking.
