thank you kindly for the lovely pictures you have posted of the fall, in your state. I live up North in Alberta Canada, and our fall has passed us by already. I love seeing pictures of old buildings that are hidden deep in the woods, if only those building could talk they would tell us a lot of history we did not know about. When my husban and I used to go hicking in out Canadian Mountains in Southern Alberta (Crows Nets Pass) we have found alot of old building of towns that were once alive with history. Hi Bill and Kay :) Hope all is well. I keep coming back to this album, I just love it. I still cant believe the colors are not as good as you say they normally are. The color in these photos arew beautiful. Steve and I are heading that direction to the Mill and other areas in Mid to late October. I was curious the time of day that you took these photos. I like the light you have been able to get, so I was curious if it was morning or afternoon. I know one of the Mills in our area, the only time to catch sun hitting the mill and giving it a golden glow is right when the sun comes up. After that it shadows over because of the trees. These are GORGEOUS pictures! In fact they are two autumnal Studies of the Mill and the Glade Creek. Earlier in the day I saw the three parts of "Almost Heaven,Scenic West Virginia".
