Where on earth could you go to get such an OUTSTANDING SHOT of the Pygmy-Loris? It's amazing, as they are naucturnal (sp)and are in the trees most of the time, was this on one of those "canopy tours" that they hold in the rainforest? This can't possibly be a zoo shot, as every zoo I've ever seen that has one has a "night" setting to keep the stress of the animals down. Thank you, the loris is my favorite animal.

Again, as with all of your albums, this is superb, what happened to the others...? I have them downloaded, but the other poor people who don't get to view such an amazing collection, you are indeed an artist. In my book right up there with the greats (Art Wolfe, Tom Brakefield, etc.)thanks again for sharing.

Hi Paul...the uprising for me was a few days ago with the feature of the Cindy Sheehan Vigil...the photography even for amature was of no quality making me think it was chosen totally as a political statement. I got on my high horse and deleted all my photos (not that they were great or anything) but I was under the impression Features were for some photographic quality and there was not one photo in that album worth crowing about. Being a worldwide venue I felt it irresponsible of management to let such a hot button issue be featured. Some of the folks I know complained and have been complainiing to Webshots but only deaf ears are listening. Well, that's it....Thanks for sharing your fabulous work. Lorrie

Paul, sorry to question your use of the names. You obviously have a far greater knowledge than I do. We actually have a couple of Koalas who frequent our neighbours backyard - they are really noisy creatures with their grunts and groans. Seattle is a great city. We are lucky enough to have been there a couple of times visiting a good friend of ours. She has taken us to all the great places around there and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Keep up the good work with the photos. Kind regards, Bob from the Gold Coast, Australia

Great photos Paul. Being from Australia I could not help but noticing that the Koala was also referred to as a Koala BEAR. Really a No-No in Australia as it is no relation at all to a bear. A common mistake though - again superb photos. Bob

Will you please give me you e-mail address. Mine is wolfin@home.nl and re: Toucan so I know that it is you because unknown names I delete directly from my income e-mails. Your photo are great. You do outstanding work. You ask about the moose in Wy. The pictures were taken in the Big Horn Mts. in Sept at that time I was using a 400 mm lens. There were times earlier in the year when I was within a few feet of the animal but he always knew I was there and actually came to me. Thanks for your comments blphoto2002@Yahoo.com

Hi Paul! I am truly delighted for the comments written by you about my albums. I really appreciate it. I'm using Nikon F60, Canon Eos1000, Minolta Dynax 3000i & recently bought Minolta Dimage Z-1 to take pictures. I'm waiting for a good deal to get my hands on Nikon/Fuji. I had them in my range but went for Z-1 instead. Here in Hong Kong I can't say it's a photographer's paradise. I don't remember seeing frogs here. There may be in the village part. Mmmm... I guess I've to go find them....lol Thanks...Sanjay Pindiyath, Hong Kong.

Hi Paul, Thank you for viewing my page. The Tarsiers are very hard to keep. I have had several close calls with them over the past year I have kept my pair. Winter seems to be the most challenging time. To do well they need humidity levels in their encloser at 50% or above. With plants in the cage and a heater the most you can really hope for is 40%. Any more then that and bacteria forms on everything causing other problems. If they catch a cold, they nearly always die. I supplement them with Reptical Calcium with D3. My pair will not eat pinkies, but they love dusted crickets. 15 to 25 a day. They drink water from the sides of thier cage that I mist several times a day and from a small petri dish on the floor. The substrate (Timothy hay) must be changed every two days. My pair have not bred yet, but a friend of mine had a litter this year with his pair. I live in Tokyo and over here the Zoos have given up on trying to keep them. They are just to delicate. My female just recovered from a near brush with death. It took force feeding her food and water 5 times a day for a month. The male has not had any problems. And now they are back together and doing fine. For now! I keep my fingers crossed. I also keep a daily record of their cages temperature ,humidity and how many crickets each ate, taken in the morning and the evening. I keep all the animals in my albums at my Exotic Animal showroom (Mania Exotics) www.mania-exotics.com Take a look at the site. I am still working on it all the time. Michael C

Paul, You have obtained exceptionally clear and very well posed photos. You have a very strong passion for your hobby. Don't ever stop making yourself happy by doing what you love to do. It also makes others happy by seeing the animals that they would never have a chance to see without you. The dedication, time, and respect that you have given to these animals is very apparent from these photos. Can't wait for more. ~ Todd King, Nampa Idaho

Your photos are exceptionally clear and crisp, which take the experience of viewing them to another level. It allows you to feel the animal. You have a real sense of patience, and an understanding of animals. Also, thank you for providing the Latin names. I will be checking back for additional albums. Again, thank you for sharing.

Thanks for your comments on my Mammals, new album. I also like your photos, especially the frogs. A couple of years ago I was in Queensland (Daintree) and saw some beautiful frogs there. Nowadays I only visit zoos and the monkeys in my Mammals, new album were taken at the Apenheul monkey park, Holland. The other ones are from various animal parks in Holland. Paul, I checked your frogs out. Wow! I really appreciate the scientific names, but you should not capitalize the specific name, only the genus. Your photos would look much better at double the resolution. Keep going, though, they're great!
