  • Greetings fron New Zealand. Darlene I love you autumn colours. Here in NZ we have no forests of autumn trees. We are all evergreen except for 3 trees and they have no colour to talk about. Thankyou for sharing. Bernard

  • Hello Darlene-thanks for the showing of some very nice photos. The wooly catepillar pix, at least in this area, depicts how long the winter is going to be, depending on the width of the black stripe....anyway, they're probably all different everywhere else too. I wanted to thank you for your comments on my featured "Mountains&q uot; album back on the 15th Nov, just now about to catch up on my 'thank you' notes, a must here. I took the liberty in downloading "Reflecting Pool", "Look Around the Bend" and one called "No Longer Used" on your Grandparents Farm-barn doors! Nice photo here too. Appreciate knowing that others can see your thoughts through the lens of your camera, so please don't stop taking pictures. When you have time to stop back and take another look at mine, I sometimes update. Your Carosel horses are a by-gone era, but still alive and well in this State too, if you look hard enough. Your "Near Yellow Canopy" is a beauty. Thanks for the education. Ron

  • Hi Darlene, thanks for your comments on my ponies. My mother took the good quality photos, and my brother took the other ones with my old camera. I am in a wheelchair, and it wasn't very good weather to go out on those days, but I'll be getting some good pony shots in the summer. Glad you like the shots, all the best, George

  • Hello, you got some really nice reflection photos here, just a tad better than mine, lol. Its not too often we get calm days here in Shetland to take reflection photos, there always seems to be a bit of a breeze. All the best, George

  • Hi Dar, Moose River sure is beautiful! I love the reflections in the water! The colors are fantastic! Thank you for taking the time to sign my album, Evening Skies and Up the Creek Without a Paddle. It was a great day for a walk and the water was so refreshing, I just loved it. Thanks again! Spring has finally arrived in Northeastern Penna! :0) Vicky

  • Thanks for your comments. No question, you are as addicted to this "sport" as me. You have a great eye. Think these are some of your best. Like the "Reflecting Pool" mood. Have some similar. Have 100's of 35mm and med. format Velvia slides of mountain, desert and ocean scenes I have never scanned. Been trying out my new Minolta A1 on backyard and local stuff. What camera do you shoot? Used to live a couple hours from Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and ended up in Texas of all places. I'm definitely "Scenically Challenged". Boy could we shoot up a storm in the Adirondacks! Neil

  • Hi Darlene, I loved your shots of Moose River. I was only there once and it was grey and cold but I painted a picture of it that is in my album of MY ART. I looked through your photos and I think I found the same sort of scene in the first picture on the 3rd page. It is bright colors but I remember the rocks! I LOVE the Adirondacks! They are a bit more beautiful than our mountains here, but our weather is better... Nancy H

  • Hello Darlene, I have thoroughly enjoyed my tour of this album! Sometimes I look at people's albums and wonder how I have the nerve to display my photos, that is how I feel at this moment. Your shots are so beautiful, my favorites are "reflecting pool" and "Island of Dreams" and the first shot on the last page. Thanks for stopping by to visit me. Candy
