Peggy, We are sea shell collectors also. Ours aren't as pretty as yours probably because we gathered ours from the Outer Banks in N. C. Joni, Did you gather yours from the Gulf shores ?

Congratulations for the photos! They are fantastic. If you really have a big collection try to arrange them by species and size and just perform an exhibition. The ocean is my life- quite literally because I'm a marine biologist. I adored your photos- they are exquistely beautiful. I have always loved the patterns on shells- it's amazing to think that all shells are is a bit of calcium carbonate that has fossilized into the beautiful and intricate patterns that they do.
