I wish I could have gotten a better shot of this guy, but I had to stick the camera out the window so he wouldn't fly off. This timid Heron lands in that spot, then flys across to wade in from behind the cat tails in the foreground... then fishes while standing motionless in the shallow water. The older larger Herons know that I'm no threat, but this is one of the baby's that was born here last year.
