This whitetail doe, allowed me to approach to within five feet of her before she carefully arose and walked away. Only after she stood, could I observe that she was ready to give birth and was exhausted. While I do believe this to be a once in a lifetime photo, one of my finest wishes, is that my children can experience this magic someday. I am quite sure that if I had not disturbed this mother, that a new life would have emerged to the light of day, on this very spot. Always have faith, that for as long as you seek out and respectfully cherish the beautiful joy of God's creation, that you will be blessed by the very joy of which you seek.
