A joint Severn River Association & South River Federation project to restore shoreline grasses and help abate erosion problems. The segmented wall allows the wave action to disperse, and maintains the longshore sediment transport. Now a restoration of critical marsh land is possible, to provide habitat, food, shelter and breeding grounds for Bay species. 12 Aug 00
