We had past the Muir Lake turn off. And was headed toward Cottonwoods Lake #1. This large meadow opens up to the first two Cottonwoods Lakes. The sun was hot, but the shady areas brought welcomed relief. It is amazing the little things that we appreciate when life is simplified.
