JDSmiling arriving at our chosen camp site. Next to Cottonwoods Lake #3. Now that we are at our Base Camp it is time to drop our packs and set up our shelter. (Walrus Zoid 2 Tent)This site has enough room to keep our kitchen away from our tent area. And still be in easy view of each area. At the Trailhead there was a sign that said. "Bears are active at Cottonwoods Lakes." In Bear country our kitchen and eating area is placed well away from our sleeping area.
