This is all we actually saw of the gentle giants we paddled over and around on our trip -which is probably why I spooked one in the tubid waters of the pond at the golf course. We saw them in the distance as dark grey-black pyramidal shapes rising from the water, whoosing to breathe, then disappearing silently into the depths again.
