We had come upon Cirque Lake, but did not find a trail. We continued in the dark as the moon nearly full was coming up. Using Cirque Peak and New Army Pass as our reference, we continued north. After going over a ridge, we came upon another lake. It was one of the South Fork Lakes. And after a quick prayer. We found a trail. We followed it to a junction. Stopped and checked our maps. And continued on the trail east.
