Lay out your Sportsman Blanket and cut it into a square shape of size 3.5 ft x 3.5 ft. Next, mark the center of this "canopy," then use scissors to cut a square or round hole the approx. size of your pole's tip (no larger). Reinforce the edges of the hole on both sides with duct tape.The trekking pole tip will eventually go into this opening, and the canopy will come to rest on the pole basket.
