Across the street from the junk yard and across from Funk's Log Cabin was this store. You are looking down Charles St road.

Thanks to my sister-in-law, I have earlier pictures of the Grocery store/gas station. It was run by the Nelson Family that settled at five points (abt 1908) and lived in the log cabin there. The log cabin was built for Mrs. Ann George in 1837 3 miles from Porter's Corner on Charles St. It was one of the stopping places from weary travelers when Indian's were hunting and fishing in Winnebago county.
