These two lakelets produced rainbows from 8 to 10 inches for us. Similar to the Goddard Creek lakes, the lakes of Blue Canyon show that remoteness and low fishing pressure do not necessarily equate to big fish (for non-brookie lakes). Many folks I've met seem to believe this. One needs somewhat poor spawning conditions in order that the population density of the lake is low in order for there to be big fish. The amount of feed for the fish is a big factor as well. See our North Sierra page
