Album Info:

A convoluted story follows me from the Black Range to the Mimbres River, down to Silver City and back to cross the Pinos Altos Range. Now before me churn the meltwaters of the Gila River, which I ford some 40 times in 15 miles. The river runs shin deep at times, crotch deep at others, always with a swift current. The immediate shoreline is awash with boulders and sagebrush and is trackless. In the woods beyond, a trail winds 1/4 mile or so, if I can find it, to the next mandatory crossing.
