This is snow field that was about 800 ft tall and sat on the mountain at a 40-45 degree slope. To save time, we decided that we'd jump out onto it and slide down. We all grabbed a long skinny rock to use as an ice ax to slow down with if we needed it. Immediately after we jumped out onto the snow field, we each took off, screaming as we got going very fast, getting airborne on some of the drop-offs. All of us were numb and scraped up from trying to stop before the rocks! It was great!!!
