I love these! When my dad was stationed at RAF Wethersfield in the late 60s, we lived on a farm in Sible Hedingham. There was a layby off the road and one day one of these stopped there for a while. My younger brother and sister and I loved it! On my dad's second assignment to England, at RAF Lakenheath, we lived in Freckenham and I remember my brother had a toy one of these and played with it often. I think he was around 13 or 14. I still remember him pouring some of the alcohol or whatever was used as fuel, on the ground and lighting it on fire sometimes (probably when my parents weren't around!). Thanks for the memories!
