Now I'm hiking back upstream toward the tunnel but uptop on the river valley. Note the prominent drainage divide to this ridge...all water that falls on the left side flows to the Allegheny River, and all that falls on the right flows to the tributary stream and under the RR bridge at the base of the ridge.
