These old railroad pilings remain on the Paint Creek trail, running through Yellow River State Forest to the tiny spot of Waukon Junction on the banks of the Mississippi. I was concerned about how high this stream crossing would be (NEW CAMERA AND ALL!!), but it was very easy, with rocks on the downstream side.
