This is the first hike of my AT journey. Photos ME AT I-01 thru 26 were taken on this first hike. Tuesday, Sept 3, 2002. Actually we climbed Mt. Katahdin using an easterly approach via the Knife's Edge Trail when this photo was taken on Sept. 6, 2002. Dean & Aaron at the summit sign on Mt. Katahdin, the northern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.
