2.0 4040 12:15-12:20 PM. Jct. with Rim Trail (summer viewing path from Cannon Mt. summit gondola station) - Dean & Aaron. Yesterday it snowed a couple of inches and Sunday it snowed a foot, so everything is covered with snow, white and fluffy. The ascent was very difficult and there was one stretch of treacherous ice that we had to cross, so we chose to descend a different route. So, for our return from here, we chose to use the Hi-Cannon Trail & Joe Dodge Cutoff and circle back to Lonesome Lake Hut from the east.
