I worked part-time at Mary Jane Shoes my jr and sr years and as Ast Manager immediatly after graduation from East. Located right next to Walgreens on N. Main St. I have fond memories of this job, many that are quite humorous. I was paid on a commission only basis. (7 1/2 % of net sales) Saturdays were always a big shopping day in downtown Rfd.
