Photos 196-206 were of a Ramapo Chapter ADK hike on February 11, 1978 to the summit of Hunter Mountain (#2-4040). This series of photos is special as it was my first introductory snowshoe hike in the Catskills. It was with a great group of experienced guys who nearly killed me as I never snowshoed before and I never fixed the bindings of my snowshoes. They had to help me with this at the trailhead in sub-zero wind chill conditions. The hike was a great challenge for me. This is John Giuffrida.
