The bugs were brutal at Cat Lake. Cathy didn't bring DEET, so she toughed it out in her raingear until the day warmed up more! Her knee was badly swollen, so she backed out of continuing over the Baileys, opting instead to spend two days hiking out to Sol Duc and hitching a ride home.
