Astronauts ride in Space Shuttle Endeavour to visit International Space Station. (GOOD NEWS) Hi! Thanks so much for viewing my “Space Shuttle and Military Composite Pictures” album. Since so many people like the pictures in this album (it has got more than two million views), I have chosen 81 pictures and published them in a picture book. Please go to www.blurb.com and search for "Luming Marr" to preview this book. Thanks! The International Space Station is the largest and most complex international scientific project in history. Led by the United States, the International Space Station draws upon the scientific and technological resources of 16 nations: Canada, Japan, Russia, 11 nations of the European Space Agency and Brazil. More than four times as large as the Russian Mir space station, the completed International Space Station will have a mass of about 1,040,000 pounds. It will measure 356 feet across and 290 feet long, with almost an acre of solar panels to provide electrical power to six state-of-the-art laboratories. The station will be in an orbit with an altitude of 250 statute miles with an inclination of 51.6 degrees. This orbit allows the station to be reached by the launch vehicles of all the international partners to provide a robust capability for the delivery of crews and supplies. The orbit also provides excellent Earth observations with coverage of 85 percent of the globe and over flight of 95 percent of the population. Credits: Pictures of Space Shuttle Endeavour, Space Station and the Earth are all from NASA. This Photoshop composite picture was created by Luming Marr on September 6, 2005. Please note the event depicted in this picture and caption did NOT really happen in the way as shown. Good Photoshop graphic design concept and calendar publishing idea example. Good photography course textbook supplemental reference and practice picture material.

  • Yo, Dr. Bernie Bear, Have a sense of humor! There really is nothing wrong with this take on Artistic License! This is very creative and within Copyright legalities! Have a sense of humor, will ya. We're all enjoying these great takes on a great American piece of history as she sails through our MYSTERIOUS universe that we little people never get to actually see shots like this, imaginary or real most of the time! Why don't you just sit back and admire this person's handiwork. Besides, if you cared to read the paragraph, you would notice the "disclaimer" in the last sentence! We like 'em!

  • Dear webshots.com, Nice composite, however, to cool the Space Shuttle in orbit, the shuttle always has its cargo doors open. obvisouly someone used a landing photo. Please, Please correct this oversite. It's so sad that this 'artistic license' is very, very inaccurate. Dr. Welburne D. Johnson, II National Space Society
