Here we are looking back at Madison Hut in the fog. On this hike we were over treeline the whole time. We experienced fog, drizzle, mist, clouds and a few patches of sunlight. The rain came when we were descending Jefferson and crossing the Monticello Lawn. We also had another shower while eating dinner at Lakes of the Clouds Hut, after which we were treated to a rainbow under clearing skies. The temperature was in the upper 40s.
