This is my great grandfather's place, the Carter Shields Cabin. My father's mother was born in this cabin. Elizabeth Shields married William R. Dykes, gave birth to William R. Jr. who fathered Elizabeth A. Dykes - me. My goal is to visit the Shields Cabin when I retire.
