A close-up of the beach at Silver Lake from the Loop Trail on the west bank. From the Silver Lake beach/picnic area we retraced our steps back to VT 53 stopping for Chris to take another dunk in the Falls of Lana. We finished the hike at 5.8 700 1:20 PM. Another Long Trail trip has come to a conclusion. I hiked every day and hiked 76.7 miles and climbed 22,650 feet. The trip had 14 participants and was quite successful. We all had an uneventful ride home.
