Lifting the stove cover you can see that the tool is locked in by the makeup of the cabinet. The tool is not attached to the stove or the cabinet in any way nor was the cabinet altered. . It simply fits in the existing spaces. What looks like a screw head is a pocket screw holding the locking piece of wood to the main piece. It makes no contact to the cabinet. There is a space between the tool and the Fridge wall. The lip of the stove slides into that space when lowered. I made mine out of oak, because I had a piece handy. Plywood would be a much nbetter choice. I added a piece of it later to the bottom to strengthen it. The padding is 1/2" weather stripping held on by its own weak glue and cable ties.
