Having traveled that road, I understand the beauty of what you happened upon. I hadn't read your comment until after I'd written.

Hello, what a wonderful photo of a bear. Did you happen to get to capture this photo in the wild somewhere yourself, you should label this where you saw the "dancing bear" -- how exciting is that. Lindy of Utah

The story for this photo was that I was on a transport bus that took people from the entrance of the park up the 80-mile-long dirt road to the camp we were all staying at. About an hour or so into the ride we could see a mother and her two cubs off in the distance, and gradually the three of them grew closer and closer to the road until finally, by the time the bus reached the area where they were, they had come onto the road and were walking side by side in front of us. They didn't seem to be too bothered by us, and the road was much easier travelling terrain for them than the mountains on either side, so they kept walking about 10 feet ahead of us for 45 minutes before finally going off the side of the road. I took this particular picture when one of the cubs stopped walking for a split second and turned around and stood up on one leg to get a better view of us. Being so close to those bears for such a long period of time was an incredible experience, and this is by far my favorite picture from the trip. Thanks for all your kind comments!

I wonder who taught him to dance. The One-and-Only Creator God (Jesus) perhaps? Good picture. Thank you for sharing.

So, I have to know. Was the bear reacting to your presence? How did this take place? It's captivates me.
