    • Hi Sam! Nice shot of this amazing little guy. I haven't had time to explore your albums too much so far so I don't know if it's one you already plant, but the hummers absolutely love black and blue salvia. I'm not as fortunate as you to keep them here all summer but I can always count on them stopping here on their trek south in late summer and early fall. The black and blue salvia is always their favorite. Thank you very much for your visit and kind comments. The one flower you questioned was actually gomphrena. I haven't planted that one in several years and I took that photo at a park. It loves the heat and does well with dry conditions. Also, that beautiful rock garden isn't mine ... I wish. I have a ton of flowers to plant and much to do outside so I will return another time for a visit. It's nice to meet someone else who enjoys the birds and gardening. Take care! Gail
