You must have been very patient to take these photos! They may pop out of the ground but they certainly don't come out very far! I really enjoyed going through the whole abum on slideshow. even see that occasssional rabbit! This must've been a park as there was lots of concrete around! Toward the end, that little one was brave enough to put his paw out tentatively! This was not the best of the photos. So I wonder if this year's groundhog saw his shadow or not? Congratulations on you POTD. Where I live, at the moment, it's minus 30 degrees C and the sun is shining, so the groundhog, if he could dig his way through the piles of snow covering his burrow, would see his shadow. I've never been able to figure out whether six more weeks of winter would be a good or a bad thing. In our case probably a good thing :-)
