This phenomen is called "noctilucent clouds". NLC with heights about 70 km in the higher atmosphere. This photo was taken at midnight in the summer 2005. The sun is already under the horizoon, but the rays shines to the highest clouds. Exposure time about 2-3 minutes with Canon EOS on a 100 ASA.
