Great detail Brenda, good shot. Thanks for commenting on mine, there is a secret to getting owls in daylight. Time of year, round here Jan & Feb, they need to feed up after winter for the breeding season & too cold for the voles to be out after dark! Need to get out of bed by 6am for when they start to hunt.

Dear Brenda, yes, it has its mouth full, sure was hungry. I love the tradition of feeders all over the civilized birds. Here birds are eaten instead of cared for and I also cherish this vital relationship of humans with the animal world.....this is a fine photograph, giving everything in this excellent close-up, very gratifying.....thanks.... warmest regards/Abid
