We finished the hike at 5.6 1350 2:55 PM, which included a 1.4 mile walk back along Byron Notch Road to our car. This photo is of a falls on Tumbledown Brook on the descent from Tumbledown Pond. What impressed me most about this hike was all the different geographic elements that were packed into such a short and spectacular circular hike. We had a glacial erratic, a boulder field, a steep climb, blueberries, a cave, rungs, mountaintop views, a pond and waterfalls all included in this short and beautiful hike.
