Tuesday, June 15, 1971. On this 2nd day we started climbing East Peak Osceola. Here I (Aaron) am on the left with my friend Bob above 3500 feet. We were excited that we came upon snow of significant depth in some shady spots along the trail. Notice our gear (circa 1970), and that we are wearing sneakers!
