Gills decurrent, widely spaced; pale yellowish. Habitat attached to the lichen Botrydina vulgaris, which is the vegetative stage, the mushroom being the reproductive stage, the joint organism forming a basidio-lichen. Found widely distributed throughout northern North America across to the Pacific Northwest and up into the Arctic Circle. Season all year. Edibility not known -avoid.
