Great angle on this huge rock! I like that contrast of the soft fragile tree against the dark solid ominous rock. They sure grow them large in Australia, don't they! I am also thinking of Ayers Rock. Congratulations on this being chosen POTD! Great shot! Katherine

theres somethin umm ominous...almost sinister...about this composition...the bareness, darkness, and hardness accentuate the eerie feeling...mebbe a umm RAVEN is missing atop the tree...hehehe...on a lighter'note though, this shot is making me look UP...and i cant help but feel that any moment, im gonna have a ummm "Close Encounter of the Third Kind"...a gigantic motherUFOship would appear from the back of this rock and hover overhead me....LoL...okayokay..ima trippin a bit...but CONNGRATTS for this unusual POTD capture, frank....cheeerz =)
