I am soo looking forward to coming to Maui someday,meeting you if Fate Smiles kindly at us (and really,how could she resist us?)and having birds all up n down my arms and head like this!! :.)

Thank you for your note sweetheart. I would never get so close to a Macaw as to let them kiss me. Not only because of the health concerns but mostly because they could do alot of damage to your face with just one nip with that sharp beak!! Bud's birds are well trained and very gentle, yet even so I would be very careful about 'kissing' a Macaw! ;)

I don't know if this is the same man as the one we saw or not when we visited Maui, but we got our picture taken with the birds. He wanted us to kiss them, but that was a bit much for my husband!
