The weather had been raging in California. I took a short break from my work. I went to the gardens on the campus and stood for a moment to draw new energy and to reflect on the day's activity. I felt a sudden warmth of the sun. The sun had suddenly broke through the clouds. I looked up to see the blossoms of the cherry tree lit up in all its glory. I quickly realized I had just seconds to capture the moment. I always take my camera everywhere I go. I grabbed my camera from my bag, took the shot - and this is the result. I could not have asked for more.

I just read what you wrote about taking this photo..I too take my camera every where..It drives my kids nuts and embarres's them...oh well...this is a great capture...you managed to capture and frame it quite nicely...I came back to download it and it looks so lovely on my computer screen...I love cherry blossoms and also Apple and Peach blossoms are very lovely...I have an album with both.
