White-winged Dove (Zenaida asiatica asiatica)
joemorlan > albums > Texas - Jan 2006
Album Info:
This large dove has increased and expanded its range dramatically over the last 30 years. Like the Inca Dove it has moved from native arid deserts into suburban gardens and parks where it seems to have adapted well to the new habitat. Although this is a very common species in southern Texas, the only decent photos I got were of these birds at the DeWind's feeders.

Great Picture. They look so peacful. I love birds, so really enjoying these. Keep up the good work. I just went & bought two little parakeet's day before yesterday. They are not totally tame yet, but I am working on it.
