These captivating creatures (Acrobates pygmaeus) are found along, and inland from, the East coast of Australia. They are roughly palm-sized in head and body length. The feather-like tail, not found on any other mammal, is about the same length. It can have a prehensile function - gripping twigs and branches of the Eucalypts it forages.
