Cape Town Pelagic, Cape Province, South Africa, August 1, 2007. Consider this a "habitat shot." Unlike most pelagic trips, there was no chumming from the boat. Instead the boat located one of the active Hake Trawlers and we spent most of our time with the enormous flocks of seabirds in its wake. There are numerous albatrosses, petrels, shearwaters and gannets in this photo. Canon PowerShot S3IS.
